3rd Annual Colorado Springs Reformation Day Conference October 29-31, 2010 “John Calvin: The Person, Pastor, & Professor” with Dr. Richard Gamble

Posted in Uncategorized on August 17, 2010 by reformationday

“Very few people living today are as capable as Richard Gamble at grasping and expressing the theology of the entire Bible. His work represents decades of reflection on interpretive issues that have perplexed scholars for over a century. He bridges the gap so many have identified between traditional systematic theology and biblical theology. He devotes himself in helpful ways to the unity and diversity of biblical revelation. Yet, throughout this work, he penetrates beyond scholarly concerns to life issues that every believer faces. I highly recommend this book. You will be glad you read it.”
- Richard L. Pratt, Jr. Adjunct Professor, Reformed Theological Seminary, President, Third Millennium Ministries

This year we are pleased to announce that Dr. Richard C. Gamble will be the speaker for our 3rd Annual Colorado Springs Reformation Day Conference. Dr. Gamble is an internationally renowned Calvin scholar and past president of the Calvin Studies Society. He edited the fourteen-volume series Articles on Calvin and Calvinism, and is a contributing editor to Calvin’s Old Testament Commentaries. He currently is Professor of Systematic Theology at Reformed Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Pittsburgh, PA and up until earlier this year he also served as the Senior Pastor of College Hill Reformed Presbyterian Church in Beaver Falls, PA. He has just published the first of a three-volume work The Whole Counsel of God (P&R), which is a massive project that aims to synthesize the entire field of Christian theology combining a biblical, historical, and systematic approach to each loci.  For a brief introduction to Dr. Gamble, check out the video interview linked below…
